Dr. Niyati Bhalani has completed MBBS & MD (Internal Medicine) from B J Medical College, Civil Hospital - Ahmedabad and DNB (Nephrology) from India's renowened Institute Medanta the Medicity, Delhi (NCR).

Professional Experience :

Dr. Niyati Bhalani started her career as an Intern Doctor at Civil Hospital, Ahmedabad for 1 year and further appointed as Resident Doctor in Civil Hospital Ahmedabad for 3 years.

  • She has also worked as a Senior Resident Doctor at Medanta the Medicity in Delhi (NCR) and she independently used to manage 40 bedded OPD Hemodialysis Center along with acute dialysis unit. (HD/ HDF/CRRT/SLED)

  • Managed Pre Transplant and Post - Transplant patients along with OPD followup in transplant unit with annual averae of 300 renal transplants.

  • Performed independently Vascular access procedures including Tunneled & Non Tunneled Vascular Catheter Placement. With annual average of 100 Vascular access procedures.

  • Trained in Ultrasound and Ultrasound guided Native & Graft renal Biopsy. With annual average of 100+ renal Biopsies.

  • Trained in Peritoneal Dialysis Catheter Placement.

  • Assisted Vascular Anastomosis Procedures i.e, AV Fistulae.

  • Vast Experience in Cross Consultations with various sub specialities including Critical Care, Cardiology & CVTS, Hepatology & Liver Transplant, Gastroenterology & GI Surgery, Oncohematology & Bone Marrow Transplant, Internal Medicine.

  • Late Dr.G.B.Mankad Gold Medal for M.D.(Medicine) 2016. Awarded by Gujarat University on 65th annual convocation.

  • Best Poster Award. Awarded by Delhi Nephrology Society in February - 2020.

  • Correlation of diabetic nephropathy and retinopathy in patients with diabetes mellitus type-II.

  • Study of outcome in swine flu patients with high risk predisposing factors.
